Our Customers Love Us! 🥰
"Art always seemed to be the thing that went in the 'too hard basket.' But now we are enjoying Masterpiece Society lessons together regularly. The clear supply lists and instruc-tional videos make it easy for me to prepare without feeling over-whelmed. I also love that so many lessons can be used by the whole family at once. It's a beautiful thing to have all my kids at the table happily creating together!"
~ Emily H.
"The Masterpiece Society lessons have been great for us to do together. I have been wanting to bring more art into our homeschool, but have not felt confident in art instruction. We have all enjoyed your videos and creating together... Your style is gentle, encouraging, and fun! Your accent makes me feel all cozy, like a nice cup of tea!"
~ Amy F.
"Parents, if you're crazy enough to want some high quality mixed media art lessons for your children, you probably want to check out the Masterpiece Society. Alisha Gratehouse makes everyone in our house feel like an artist by the time a project is finished. We're even willingly and joyfully hanging the art up in the house—where it can be seen! The price is right too. So whether you have a couple, several, few, or a gaggle of children, it's affordable."

Hi there! I’m Alisha...
I'm passionate about nurturing creativity and bringing the JOY of art to homeschooling families!
As an artsy-craftsy homeschooling mom, I embraced the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy early on. (Somehow I doubt Miss Mason was as messy as me, but…let’s cut ourselves some slack as creatives, right?)
Living books, poetry, and nature studies drummed out the rhythm of our days…but how on earth was I supposed to make art study happen on a regular basis? Sure, there were local art teachers (pricey), a handful of video courses (which unfortunately made my kids snore), and the stack of art books on my table loomed dangerously beside my antique table lamp.
I didn’t just want to expose my kids to art—I wanted them to experience it.
It wasn’t until my own kids were older that I finally had the time and bandwidth to do something about what I believed was a gaping void in the area of online art for kids and teens. So in 2014, I pulled out my art supplies, grabbed a camera, and finally put my years of creative “me time” with a paintbrush to use.
What began as a humble mixed media course for homeschoolers has grown into a full-blown membership, Masterpiece Society Studio, providing high-quality art education for homeschooling families all around the world!
From classical techniques to mixed media projects, Masterpiece Society offers a complete curriculum—blending both art expression and appreciation, that helps kids and teens explore their creativity, master multiple art mediums, and develop a lifelong love for art.
